Balance is a constant practice. Our body is in a rhythm of balance in everything we do – breathing, digesting, sleeping + waking. It seems that our inner wisdom and body knows balance from a deeper level. This month we are invited to dig deeper into balance. And perhaps a new idea of balance. Instead of trying to consciouslymake or do balance, can we practice being balance and living balance from a level that is beyond what books and our mind teach us. Can we listen a little more closely and practice surrendering that inner voice that guides us into balance?
Libra: This is your birthday time of year where you get to reflect on the year past and intend for the upcoming year. This is a powerful time to take some silence and quiet. Take some time without your busy schedule, and go within for the guidance that leads you to the dreams that are beyond your conscious mind.
Scorpio: It is time to bring some balance into your mind and bring a little bit more faith into your thinking. The truth is that most of us have been convinced that our needs will not be met. How are you buying into this? Is this serving you?
Sagittarius: With the Libra New Moon in your house of friendships and community, reflect on how much you are giving in your friendships. It could be time to give a little bit more to yourself, or to work to build some stronger relationships with the friends you have in your life.
Capricorn: All work makes Jack a dull boy. All seriousness makes Jill a dull girl. It may be time to lighten up this month. Most likely. you already take a serious approach to your work and career. Let go a little this month and trust all your actions (including just breathing) are leading you where you are going.
Aquarius: As an Aquarius, you may tend to overthink. Aquarius is an air sign, which rules the mental facilities. Bring some balance to your thinking. You don’t understand life simply by thinking, but also by feeling with the whole body.
Pisces: This is the month to stop hiding. Stop pretending everything is okay ad ask for help. Be vulnerable in being seen and showing that you need help. We are put on Earth to help one another.
Aries: There comes a time in every relationship to turn inward. The more that you focus on your personal growth and development, the more you are creating a healthy relationship. Notice what you are giving up for your relationships, and perhaps start to integrate those things back into your life.
Taurus: If you are anything like me, it’s time to bring a bit more balance to how you approach routine. It can be easy to start the day with a strict to-do list. If you do that, throw out the list and trust all will happen. If you are doing no planning, add 1 thing a days you want to accomplish.
Gemini: You may be finding that you have been playing a lot, or maybe you haven’t been. Either way, with the new moon in your house of play and creativity, this is a good time to check out how much time you are playing. Remember, play is a good thing, and we need it to stay balanced.
Cancer: Home, sweet home. This is the time to focus on your home and bring some more balance into your house. Maybe change the furniture around or do some purging of stuff that needs to go. Your home is a reflection of you, balanced home equals a balanced you.
Leo: The Libra New Moon falls in your house of communication this month. How we communicate is key in life. Approaching communication with balance is a skill that must be practiced. This month is a powerful time to practice communication with truth and compassion. Practice makes perfect!
Virgo: The New Moon brings attention to your house of income and self-worth. Keep an eye on your finances this month. That doesn’t mean don’t spend money, but perhaps look at what you’re spending money on. Does it feel balanced to you?
