developed Reflections Yoga as a way to merge what
she found most inspiring in other practices of yoga
and energetic healing with her own personal truth.
Reflections yoga focuses on the understanding and
refinement of the universal principles of alignment
of body and mind. Working in this way helps us to
understand that we move not just from our muscles
and joints but also from the support of our inner
body.
As our understanding deepens we can discover how our
movements are a reflection of our mental state. Working
with our physical, mental and energetic bodies all
at the same time helps us to move toward real transform.
During the thirty hour advanced training we will review the the shoulder from an anatomical point of view as
well as from a developmental perspective; offering
a deep understanding of how the shoulder moves. We will
also explore the shoulder from a therapeutic perspective. With this understanding we will learn yoga adjustments that are both opening and healing to the upper body.
